Fellow Riders,

• It has been warm enough to go up into the mountains, but because it is so close to the holidays I’ve decided to plan a little scoot closer to home, the Café at William’s Hardware in Traveler’s Rest.  If you would like to join me let’s plan to leave the Key Mart parking area about 10:30 AM.  BTW, after this Friday I won’t be planning any rides until after the holidays.  So, if I don’t see you before then, have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year.  Ride Safe.  Dan

• This great weather makes for some excellent riding so we should not waste it.  I’m planning to ride over to Clarkesville, GA for some lunch at the CopperPot.  If you would like to join me let’s plan to leave the Key Mart parking area about 10:30 AM.  Hope you can make it.    Dan

I wasn't able to make the ride this past Friday, but here is the update from Dan.  "Also, Friday's ride went well. We had 11 riders. We snaked around through West Union, Westminster, & North Toccoa to get there, however, we ran into wet roads and heavy mist from Toccoa to Clarkesville. No big deal. Mostly great riding. I'm pretty sure you would rather have been with us. "  No doubt I would have preferred being out on two wheels.  Steve

• Friday is forecast to be a great day for riding.  I hate to miss such a great opportunity to ride but I will be unable to plan and lead a ride this week.  However, those that don’t want to miss such good weather should meet at the Key Mart parking area about 10:30 AM and select a destination and ride leader at that time.  Ride safe.    Dan
