Friday 3/15/13 Ride
Fellow Riders,
- I have been informed that I need to be home no later than 3 PM for an Activity Group function, so with that in mind I think I can get to the Dutch Plate in Campobello and back in time to avoid serious consequences. If you want to join me let’s plan to leave the Key Mart parking area about 10:30 AM. Hope you can make it. Dan

- A sunny and breezy ride to Spartanburg county today. The group of 10.5 riders included Dan, Leslie, Rob, Len, Steve (2)(me), Russ, Mel, Steve (1), Denny, and Bob. The .5 rider was Pete, who joined us at the Dutch Plate and rode with us a few miles after lunch before heading back toward Greenville. Fortunately, there was no accident this year in downtown Campobello, but we did make the customary u-turn to get to the restaurant since we drove passed it again. Maybe next year we'll skip the u-turn and pull right in. The Dutch Plate has quite a menu and offers meat loaf everyday as a special. The breakfast side of the menu was quite popular today. The girls serving us did a great job and the food was very tasty. By the way, it would appear Dan made the deadline, so he'll presumably live to lead another day. Another great day on two wheels.
