Friday 1/30/15 Ride

Fellow Riders,

  • Friday should be sunny but a tad bit nippy, so I’m thinking of starting just a half hour later and staying somewhat close to home.  Let’s try the Seasons By The Lake Restaurant in the Madren Conference Center at Clemson University.  I hear they have a decent lunch buffet as well as menu items.  If you want to try them let’s plan to leave the Key Mart parking area about 11:00 AM this Friday.  Remember, 11:00 AM.  We may get another degree out of Mother Nature.  Hope to see you then.    Dan

  • Today's ride turned out to be a good one.  Although cool, it was not a bad ride.  Dan called Sue and said there would be 9 for lunch in Clemson.  Along with Dan were Len, Lesley, Charley, Kevin, Denny (who managed to dig out of the relentless snowfall in Erie and head south), Russ, me, and Bob.  Sue was able to join us in Clemson, arriving in the silver, tandem bike hauling, FLEX.  Seasons has a great buffet and great views of Lake Hartwell.  The food was very good and the server kept the drinks filled.  Because it wasn't crazy cold, we took a slightly scenic route back to Seneca, stopping at the Ingles gas pumps to fill up and be ready for next week's ride.  It was another great day on two wheels.    Steve
